g.o.d (Groove Over Dose) is a five-member South Korean first-generation K-pop group formed in 1999. Known as the original "national group," g.o.d pioneered idol reality television with their landmark variety show g.o.d Parenting Diary (2000-2001), which became a cultural touchstone that forced Gag Concert to change time slots due to competition. The show directly contributed to their 2nd album selling over 500,000 copies.
