BTS has officially unveiled the complete tracklist for their fifth studio album ARIRANG, confirming that the title track SWIM was written by leader RM. The group shared the announcement on their official social media channels on March 4, sending global ARMY into a frenzy just 16 days before the album drops.

The album features 14 tracks: SWIM, Body to Body, Hooligan, Aliens, FYA, 2.0, No. 29 (Interlude), Merry Go Round, NORMAL, Like Animals, they don't know 'bout us, One More Night, Please, and Into the Sun.

Title Track SWIM: Life's Waves, at Your Own Pace

Big Hit Music describes SWIM as an upbeat alternative pop track that captures the spirit of pressing forward through life without resisting the current — expressing that very act of perseverance as a form of love for life itself. RM took the lead on the lyrics, infusing the song with authenticity that mirrors BTS's own story of separation and reunion.

The track was produced by Tyler Spry and Leclair. Songwriting credits include James Essien, Sean Foreman, Tyler Spry, Jamison Baken, Ryan Tedder, RM, Kirsten Allyssa Spencer, Derrick Milano, and Pdogg.

A Star-Studded Global Production Lineup

ARIRANG is the result of an expansive international collaboration. Grammy-winning artists and producers including Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, Diplo of Major Lazer, longtime BTS producer Pdogg, Kevin Parker, and Mike WiLL Made-It all lent their talents to the project. The foundation was laid at a songwriting camp held in Los Angeles during the summer of 2025, where BTS worked alongside this world-class team to shape the album's sonic direction.

Songs That Span the Full BTS Journey

Each of the 14 tracks carries its own emotional weight. Body to Body is a high-energy anthem built for concert crowds. Hooligan captures the years spent blazing trails across the globe. Aliens and FYA channel the group's ambitions and the raw excitement of their return, while 2.0 portraits where all seven members stand today as they step into a new era.

NORMAL explores the tension between their public and private selves. Like Animals channels a desire to live with full intensity, and One More Night lingers in the wish to stay inside a perfect moment. The album closes with Into the Sun — a heartfelt confession of running toward someone no matter what stands in the way.

March 20 Release and Netflix Live Event

ARIRANG is set to drop on March 20 at 1 p.m. KST. The following day, March 21, BTS will perform BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG at Gwanghwamun Square in central Seoul — a historic free outdoor concert that will be live-streamed worldwide on Netflix, bringing the moment to fans across the globe.

By naming the album after Korea's most beloved traditional folk song, BTS signals a deeply personal and cultural homecoming. Described by the label as a record that embraces the group's identity and the emotional terrain of their shared journey, ARIRANG may well stand as the most defining chapter of BTS's remarkable career.
